Panel rejects booster jabs plan for all Americans – with green light given to over 65s and vulnerable

An influential US government advisory panel has rejected plans to give COVID-19 booster jabs to most Americans – only backing them for people aged 65 and over, and those at high risk of severe disease.

The decisions were made by a committee of experts who advise the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and deliver a huge blow to the Bidenadministration.
