Five-year-old boy swept away by floodwater as deadly storms see entire California town ordered to evacuate

A five-year-old boy has been swept away by floodwater in severe storms that have seen an entire town in California ordered to evacuate.

The evacuation order for Montecito, affecting about 10,000 people, came on the fifth anniversary of a mudslide that killed 23 and destroyed more than 100 homes in the coastal enclave.
