DUI Checkpoint in Pasadena
On Friday, January 25, 2019, the Pasadena Police Department will be conducting a DUI checkpoint. The checkpoint will be at an undisclosed location between 6 p.m. and 3 a.m. Officers will be checking for proper licensing and signs of alcohol/drug impairment.
Why?
Every year, the lives of innocent people are tragically and unnecessarily taken by impaired drivers. Avoid being a statistic by making good choices. Find a safe ride home or use a ride sharing service. Even the most expensive taxi ride is cheaper than a DUI, which can rise to a total cost of over $13,000!
Remember that DUI does not just mean booze. Prescription medication and/or the use of marijuana can also cause dangerous impaired driving. Please be safe and DO NOT drink and drive! Keep Pasadena safe!
