Boy, 4, and girl, 6, die after being hit by truck while playing mini golf
Two children have died after being hit by a truck while playing miniature golf, according to officials.
The four-year-old boy died at the scene and his six-year-old sister lost her life in hospital after they were struck in Panama City Beach in Florida.
Police said the incident happened on Friday after the driver of the truck, Scott Donaldson, allegedly veered off the road and on to the course at the Coconut Creek Family Fun Park.
Debbie Ward, a spokeswoman for Panama City Beach police department, said the family had been visiting from Kentucky.
The victims have not been named and charges have not been filed as the incident remains under investigation.
Ms Ward said that grief counsellors and members of the clergy have been with the family since the collision.
