Donald Trump’s 45 most controversial tweets

Donald Trump regularly hits headlines with his outrageous and often divisive tweets.

The 74-year-old has used the platform more avidly than any president before him.

He was as prolific on the social media platform before he was elected the 45th president in 2016, posting much talked about tweets as far back as the early 2010s.

Here are 45 of the most controversial from both his time before and after the White House.
